A Világi Zsidó Iskoláért Alapítvány kuratóriuma pályázatot ír ki a Lauder Javne Zsidó Közösségi Óvoda, Általános Iskola, Gimnázium és Zenei Alapfokú Művészeti Iskola főigazgatói pozíciójára a 2025/26-os tanévtől. A vezetőváltást a jelenlegi főigazgató, Horányi Gábor maga kezdeményezte, mivel jövőre betölti 65. életévét.

The Lauder Javne School in Budapest calls for applications and nominations for Head of School, to be appointed by early 2025, and to assume responsibility for the school year 2025-2026.

Who are you?

  • You are a leader with outstanding people skills, a strong commitment to Jewish continuity, and a creative approach to, and understanding of, pedagogy;
  • You are visionary, engaging and enthusiastic;
  • You are competent, Judicious and empathetic;
  • You are an experienced manager, having led teams in an educational institution or organization, with a proven track record in pedagogic leadership or financial management or both;
  • You are familiar with, and have an evidenced interest in, Jewish education, and are excited about contributing to the future of Jewish life in Budapest;
  • You are a fluent Hungarian and competent English speaker.

  • The Lauder Javne School is an established, highly successful, outstanding institution comprising primary, middle and high schools as well as a kindergarten, and enrolling close to 900 pupils;

What is the process and terms?

The new Head of School will be appointed in early 2025 and will work in parallel with her/his predecessor for up to six months.

Applications and nominations will be reviewed by the Board of the School. Invitations to interview will be issued on a rolling basis.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience
